It is a great pleasure to write a review for such a wonderful doctor. Dr. Shafi has been my sports medicine specialist for the last 15 years. I'm an avid marathon runner and have received multiple steroid, platelet, and stem cell injections over the course of the last decade and a half from Doctor Shafi. He is the most knowledgeable and personable physician I have ever met and I give him my highest recommendation. I wouldn't refer anybody to another doctor in town before first Consulting with Dr Shafi.

I went to see Dr Shafi after I read that he was the team doctor for the Miami Fusion professional soccer team. My ankle had been bothering me and I was not ever able to get it back to 100% until I met Dr Shafi. My primary doctor prescribed motrin and just told me to stop playing soccer, which is not an option for me. Dr Shafi, after thorough exam and discussion, injected my ankle and put me in physical therapy for some rehabilitation of my inflamed tendon. Within 2 days the pain was much better, and after 4 weeks of therapy, I was back on the field pain free. Thanks Doctor for your expertise!

I heard about Dr Shafi through my friends in my community who are always complaining about their aches and pains. I saw him for my back pain and after one office visit, I learned so much about my back and how to keep my back pain from limiting my life. After the trigger point injections he gave me, I am pain free for the last 6 weeks and I'm thrilled! Not bad for just one office visit. Highly recommended!

No one in town can compare to Dr Shafi. Is the best doctor by far that I visited over the 70 years of my life, and trust me, I've seen a bunch. Honest, positive, straight to the point, and knowledgeable. He lays out the options and collectively decides on a treatment plan the way all doctors should, but rarely do. He takes his time and I appreciate that.

It is with great respect and admiration that I write this review. Dr. Shafi has been treating my injuries for the last 12 years and I never thought to write an online review until I googled him and saw his incredible reviews online. Fortunately I agree with his rave reviews and am impressed with his great reputation and great service over more than a decade. I am a competitive marathoner and triathlete, and push my body to the limits. Dr. Shafi has kept my body in tune, modified my treatment course based on my own training schedule, and kept me healthy for all of my competitions. He is simply the best doctor I have met and I hope to work with him for a long time coming.

This guy is great.... I walked into his office practically sideways with back pain.. after seeing me on the same day that i called, reviewing my xrays, we decided to do injections in my back. After the relatively painless injections, i walked out of the office upright and happy! I wish i knew about Dr shafi over the past 10 years every time my back went out. Its good to know that i can get in quick and feel better so quickly after a few easy injections

Dr Shafi has been caring for me for the last 10 years. I have seen him for my back and hip pain, sciatica, neck pain, and shoulder pain. He has given me injections, medications, physical therapy, and extensive counseling. After so many visits and treatments, I must say that I now see him as a friend as well as an astute physician. He engages me in conversation, asks about my life outside of the orthopedic world, and incorporates aspects of my life into his treatment advice. Brilliant approach! He never tells me what I cannot deo, but always advises me on what I CAN do. His positivity and knowledge are unparalleled. Great MD choice!

I had a great experience in this office with this doctor on multiple occasions. He has a great sense of humor and put me at ease with his confidence, but not arrogance. I have had multiple procedures over the last 3 years for my knees, my back and sciatica, and my wrist, and because of him, I have been able to continue playing tennis at a competitive level. I first met Dr. Shafi when he was volunteering at a local Tennis tournament. He evaluated my injury, got me back on the court to finish the tournament, and I have stuck with him ever since. Wherever Dr. Shafi goes, I will follow! I can always get in to see him within a week, which is a relief as well, especially with my busy schedule. I know other orthopedic offices have a 4-6 week delay for appointments, which makes no sense for when you are in pain. Give him a try, and i'm sure you will be very satisfied.
