Dr. Anding is a very nice and caring person. I have been seeing her for several years. I would prefer she have more holistic training, as many other doctors have. Nearly every time I am there, I see drug sales people in the waiting room. I generally like going to her. I had some problems with one of the nurses and the other/s seem to be a bit overwhelmed. Half the time I need a prescription refilled I have to wait up to a week or more to get it. When you call to ask about it, they put you in a voicemail recording. This must be a new system. I had the same problem getting this done by the nurses or whoever was supposed to contact the pharmacy in the past. The staff members seem helpful and I don't have any problems with them. I do't like that they turn the phones over to the answering service on Friday afternoons so that you can't call in.

Dr. Anding is a knowledgeable and caring physian. I am however considering changing doctors because of the office staff and reliabilty of her ever-changing PA's. They either need an office manager or need a new one. My only problem with her herself is that when she feels she has informed you regarding your visit, she just quickly leaves the room without a "goodbye". I am never sure if she is finished with me and usually have to find her to ask a question.

Dr Anding has been my MD for years. I accidently found out the acct dept was holding @ $70 over payment I made the year before. They do not return the $$ unless you ask for it?! How do you know to ask for it? Dr. A can be sweet or short/rude, as can her staff. I almost left her this year but she got sweet again. Maybe she has problems that wear on her and they show up at work, her partner did retire. Her lab staff has made a couple of errors, my address and drawing blood, resulting in dunning collection calls. I called many times to find out the results of tests not taken due to not enough blood drawn, no one let me know they didn't draw enough even with me calling for the results. Her nurse promised me information but never sent it. Sadly getting a response when I was sick took many calls and many days to get in to her. I probably will change docs if she takes a 'turn' again. My health is too important so I have to consider it even though I would rather we get back where we were.

Excellent physician. Very knowledgeable, personal and thoughtful of patients. Listens and addresses your needs.

Dr. Anding is very knowledgeable, however, she doesn't have time to listen. I'm sure it's due to "managed care" and the time alloted to each patient. It is discouraging because as a result of that, she doesn't have a clear picture of the "whole body". Perhaps she should have less patients and more time with each one...five minutes would be good.

I would recommend Dr Anding to anyone. I see her in the HEB Senior Clinic. Each patient is a special person rather than a number. She cares and it shows.
