I waited two months to get an appointment for my father who is 84 and we suspected has had a stroke. It is not easy to get him anywhere and we were late to our appointment. The front desk called back and was told that we were ok because the Dr. was behind anyway. We took the paperwork, filled it out and waited to see the Dr. A nurse came out and told us that we were not going to be seen. Since the Dr. was behind and we were late, she was going to bump us to help her make up for some of her "behind time". The next available appointment for my ailing father was TWO MONTHS OUT. Totally not acceptable. We were expendable because she was behind! We did not cause her to be delayed. She did not care about my father's condition.

I saw Dr. Anne Mai once at the Beacon Hill Pacific Medical Center and quickly moved on to another neurologist. She asked if I had insurance and what insurance I had when deciding whether or not to order a test. Apparently she believes it’s her job to start policing patients and their insurance policies, which really is not needed since you do show your insurance card at the front desk.
