The doctor isn't very friendly and basically no bedside manners. I had the sleep study test and was told that I had a very mild case of sleep apnea. Dr. Patel said that all he felt I needed was oxygen. Medicaid approved it but when I lost my Medicaid, my wife added me to her insurance. Her insurance wouldn't approve the oxygen because even though Dr. Patel said I would be okay on oxygen, he put in his report that I would benefit with a c-pap machine. I was never informed of this and am now being told that I have to go through the sleep tests again. Any time you call the office, he won't discuss anything unless he has something in writing from you.
