I went here because of my allergies. He showed up 2 hrs late. Took blood from me and never ordered the test he said he was going too. Makes you go back just to get a refil of my rescue inhaler. The office was gross and extremely outdated. Dirt everywhere exsposed wire. The place is a dump . Stay clear. Very un professional and the staff is the same. Did i mention the plastic on the Windows in august .

Dr Leva is a nice man. The issues I have are many. An extremely long wait time. I've never waited under an hour, nor has my wife. There is limited hours in Northport and you cannot even leave a message on the phone during off hours for someone to get back to you. Recently, the doctor prescribed my wife a medication she had an allergic reaction to. She called to describe what was happening and asked the receptionist for an urgent reply on what she should do next. She called two more times over the next 2 hours and the office staff and doctor were clearly annoyed that she called. No apology, no sense of urgency whatsoever. And to boot, they've been billing me for a $15 payment for the past 12 months...even though I've repeatedly provided proof I paid it. Do yourself a favor- find another office in the area.

tries to run a practice in queens and northport-results- you could wait three days before he's in your area and then youll waite 1 to 2 hours to get into an exam room because everyone was bean waiting for days poor diagnosis every time. staff can really irritate you. poor poor poor practice. god forbid you really need real care for a real problem.dont waite, find a new doctor now

I have been going to Dr. Leva since i was about 8 years old. I am 23 and have realizec that there staff is very rude. Will never go there again now that I am old enough to choose where i would like to go. There has always been one nurse there that has always been nice to me but other than that thy ar horrible. The front dest are not helpfull at all and the doc dosent seem to care.

Doesn't talk down to you. As with most MD's, too many patients. Very knowledgeable. Excellent doctor.

"Staff are totally unprofessional and rude. The doctor himself could care less. I went to him 4 times for the same ailment, it was a total waste of time. Very uncaring individual." EXACTLY!!! I have never been in such a poor practice. I have waited over one hour on two occasions and I agree that the drs. seem cold and uncaring. One nurse was nice and helpful to me. To top it off, I had scheduled a follow-up appt. with this drs. office. The morning of the appt. I called to cancel because my child was sick but I could not get through. After AT LEAST 20 attempts to get past the service (after the message said it was now office hours), I finally punched the service's number for an emergency to let them know I would not be there. Turns out, they CLOSED THEIR OFFICE that day but did not bother to call patients to let them know they would not be seen! If I had showed up for my appt. the office would have been locked and I would have wasted my time. In my opinion, find another practice.

Very, very poor Doctor. Misdiagnosed ... given the wrong medication ... very bad reaction ... do NOT go here if you value your life!

THE worst; unprofessional and unknowledgeable! I went in for a blood test once, the nurse pricked me 3x in one arm, 2x in the other arm, and 1x in the hand and told me to come back tomorrow because she couldn't do get the blood! They made me pay another copay the next day. The wait is always at least an hour- run from this office!

always wait at least an hour. Staff is rude and unknowledgable. dr. rushes through with patient and doesn't know how to run the office. please find a different dr., I did. Too bad a waited so long.
