Where do i even begin? I went to him because I tore a tendon on my ankle, he did wonderful work then. When I in for a post op appt he discussed my flat feet and how I needed to get them fixed before any problems occurred from them. Started with my right foot doing an evans calcaneal osteotomy. Things went great. Did my left foot a year later and had issues, but nothing more than tendon weakness. Fast forward thee years and i broke my heel. He suggested I needed surgery to remove the chip that was causing the pain. I agreed. Signed papers at the hospital for surgery, woke up in extreme pain. My mom asked her friend, who was the OR nurse, what he did and she said he never touched my heel, said he thought the problem was actually from my nonunion from my previous surgery and fixed that instead. I had nonstop issues after surgery and he continually told me it was just post op pain. After a couple years in extreme pain i went to another doctor who told me i had a nonunion again. Did a bone stimulator and he said it seemed to be helping. Fast forward to a total of 9 years and my plate snaps in half and i can no longer walk on my foot. Get sent to a new doctor, he orders a CT and confirms the plate snapped due to yet again a non union on a surgery that should have never happened. I’ve had two surgeries with my new doctor fixing what Dayton destroyed, and my new doctor said i should have never had my flat feet repaired. Dayton is a crook
