I have had surgery twice and have referred so many people to Inov8. All of us are very happy!

UPDATE: The Doctor covered his costs for my Mom's surgery to replace the hip that had popped out. I met him this morning and he was very kind and determined that this hip would most certainly stay in place. They changed the size of the ball and made minor adjustments as to fit her body better. The surgery center has a great energy, the staff all feels happy and on their own missions. I would recommend. It's nice because they play good music, thus the vibe is upbeat and focused.

My Mom got her hip replaced by this doc, then it CAME OUT weeks after. She was in another country at the time and had to go into emergency an surgery. She is having to pay the FULL PRICE (again) for another surgery with him. I am advising her to go to a new doctor for fear of this happening again. I have never met the man as I live in another state. I am very disappointed. As she spoke so highly of him before and after the surgery.

I was warned he had no bedside manners. He is very very quiet and will not contact you except to meet once, cut on you and one 30 second visit post op. Other than that, he is too busy to see you. You will deal with his staff and that is when you will not like things to the point of wondering what have you gotten yourself into. Here's my second note to his office to complain about his staff. Mind you, I DO NOT taking time write a complaint and do not like complaining! I did this note out of immense frustration as well as the other one. The first note was a similar matter, but included other particulars regarding paperwork and not being able to contact anyone in their office. The first note was PRIOR to COVID-19 complications for the record. Here you go:

RE: Infection – Medication needs

Dr. Kreuzer,

I regret to have to write your office again concerning your staff. I called your office yesterday morning at 0906 hrs. I hit the buttons to lead me to prescription refills. I reached a young lady. It started off fine, but the moment I informed your staff that I needed antibiotics for an afternoon surgery, the female became upset. She said, well, what are you having done cleaning or something else. I said tooth extraction account I have an abscess and toothache. I asked If she would please send a request to my HEB pharmacy @ Tamina Rd. in Magnolia, Tx. She agreed and said it was done.

At noon, several hours later, I called HEB. Nothing. I called back to your office and reached the same lady on your staff. She said, the prescription was requested. I asked, did she request Clindamycin, like last time? She said Cephalexin was requested. I replied, I haven’t taken that before and that I am not a doctor, but am allergic to penicillin. I asked if she would make sure the request was not a drug that I may have a reaction to. She said, please hold and returned to say, the request to HEB was for Clindamycin and is “in the system”.

At 0900 hrs, 08-13-2020, I got a prescription request for Cephalexin. At 1200 hrs, I got a prescription requested for Clindamycin. At 1800 hrs. HEB has NOTHING from your staff.

I want you to know that when I called at 1200 hrs to check on my medication, the lady in your office told me, “IN THE FUTURE, DO NOT CALL UP HERE ON THE SAME DAY YOU NEED MEDICATION.” She was further expressing her frustration from my 0900 hrs call. FOR THE RECORD, I did not choose to crack my tooth. I did not choose to have an infection and toothache. That should be clear to your staff and to anyone with an ounce of compassion.

I’d appreciate getting medication as needed to prevent infection spreading that could cause me extreme, if not, life threatening complications.

I’ll be copying this note to multiple sites in hopes you will receive this communication. My wife has instructed to to notify the Texas board of these issues, since they persist.

Sincerely,
XXXXXXXXXX

Three weeks ago I had a hip replaced by Dr. Kreuzer. I have no pain & I followed his instructions for recovery. I danced last night. I couldn't be happier. My experience was everything you hope for with hip replacement. I had one hip higher than the other & he fixed me with a 16th of an inch. I highly recommend this surgeon. His staff Kevin, the x-ray techs all very wonderful. There is nothing not to love about this facility and doctor.

Great surgery.
Terrible admin. Unable to collect a double payment the doctor promised to pay back. I've been dealing with Dr. Kreuzer's accounting and billing staff over 3 months and they prove to be very mediocre and incompetent.

I can't say enough good things about Dre Kreuzer. I had two hip replacements in the space of 3 months - both very successful. It has been two months since the last one and I am walking two miles without any pain. I am 77 years old and very glad to be able to get back to living "normally" for me. I have more energy and looking forward to going hiking very soon. His staff is wonderful and very helpful. His instructions are all in writing and very detailed. He has an app for the phone called Pulse that keeps tabs on your pain level, exercise, and what can be expected at each stage of recovery for 60 days after surgery. It also has a place for messaging and the one or two times I wrote to ask questions, I got immediate answers.
Thank you Dr. Kreuzer.
