This was my first time seeing Dr. Keller. I had an infected great toe from an ingrown toe nail. I am diabetic also. She put me on some antibiotics for 5 days and then brought me back to cut out the ingrown toe nail, or so I thought. She told me nothing about the procedure she was about to do, absolutely nothing. She cut out the ingrown toe nail and sent me packing. I got home and it was a bloody mess. The blood was oozing out of the bandage wrap all over the place. I couldn't figure out why this was happening. I'd had an ingrown nail cut out before and never did it bleed like this. A day later, I took off the blood soaked bandage and found out that she cut out both sides of my nail down to the nail bed!! To do this to someone who already has an infection in their toe and is diabetic is irresponsible! I have been dealing with this infection for 2 months! I have been seeing my normal podiatrist where I live, and he said she should never have done this procedure on me. She did it and she did not tell me what she was doing when she did it. I would not recommend Dr. Keller to anyone!
