My mother recently had a hysterectomy for uterine cancer. Dr. Holtz stepped in for an associate to perform the surgery. Although he did not previously see her as a patient, he was very thorough & professional. He made her feel very at ease during the entire process. She will continue to see him in the future for post-op visits. This was a difficult time for my mother and the family but, thanks to Dr. Holtz, the stress was minimized.

Excellent surgeon. My recovery could not have gone more smoothly. I'm so thankful I got a second opinion for my surgery from Dr. Holtz. I had a hysterectomy and can't believe how quickly I recovered and feel great. Great office staff. Dr. Holtz is an amazing, gifted surgeon.

I am really thankful to Dr. Holtz and his team. He is knowledgeable, ethical and professional. I was about to have a massive surgery suggested by another doctor when I went to see him. It saves me a lot that I did not need to have that big surgery that actually might not be necessary at all. Everything went so smoothly before, during and after my surgery. My recovery was fast, and that really helps since I am a single mother with four children. Now people keep asking if I need help, but I could go back to all my daily tasks just in a few days after my procedure. Thanks to Dr. Holtz. I am really happy and satisfied.

Dr. Holtz and his entire team are the best! He and i both decided on a treatment plan that made sense given my unknown diagnosis. At no time did I question my decision to have Dr. Holtz perform my surgery and as a result my outcome and recovery from surgery were excellent. Cancer?...Wait....What?....No...
I went to see Dr. Holtz at the request of my regular gynecologist after he found ovarian cancer during a hysterectomy surgery for a different issue. He was unable to remove one of my ovaries because it was a bit tricky to do. He told me that Dr. Holtz was far more skilled and he was an oncology gynecologist. We went to his office where he called Dr. Holtz, explained my situation and asked if he could see me. Dr. Holtz said that he could see me in his office the very next day at 9:30 AM! I was shocked. I could not believe that he was willing to adjust his schedule to see me that quickly. When I arrived at the office the next morning with my daughter, we were greeted and made to feel right at home. The staff were all very kind and considerate and actually had my daughter and I laughing at one point as we waited my turn. When we went into the office and met Dr. Holtz, I was amazed how prepared he was to go over my diagnosis and the best treatment possible for me. He answered all of my questions and told me exactly what to expect and how each symptom or side effect would be treated as well. He also told me about the some side effects that I might be stuck with for the rest of my life. He was completely thorough and answered all of our questions. He was patient and understanding and kind. But most of all, he gave me hope.
I have been seeing Dr. Holtz for over a year now. I could not be more happy with the level of care I have received from him. He is always kind, caring, patient and respectful. Never once have I had a second thought about my choice. If you are ever faced with a gynecological cancer diagnosis I recommend Dr. Holtz, the best care anywhere!

Came on a recommendation by my Internist for a second opinion on an ovarian cyst.
How wonderful to walk in a door with trepidation and to immediately be told, even before I sat down, that he already perused my chart and that I was absolutely fine and there was nothing wrong with me.
I was so impressed with this self-assured, no-nonsense person who inspires confidence, that I begged for him to take me on as his patient. Highly recommended.
PS. His assistant, Coleen, also gets high marks for warmth and knowledge of her craft.

My experience with Dr. Holtz was brief but effective and positive. I originally went for a second opinion on a recommendation for a total hysterectomy -- ended up changing to his car because of his positive, but frank, demeanor. My surgery was scheduled effortlessly. The surgery itself was flawless, without pain and with a recovery much easier and quicker than I expected. Dr. Holtz was recommended to me by my PCP and I would gladly recommend him to other women. I can only hope that all medical issues I encounter in life will be this easy!
