Poor customer service . Waited close to an hour , then dr hoang came in . Had well woman , she saw me less than 8 mins . Rushed did not even look over chart asking me questions such as last pregnancy .. I don’t even have a uterus .. I complained of intense breast pain , I already have on file that I have abnormal breast mammogram , she told me wait 4 more months until it’s my next mammogram scheduled. 😲 being neglectful like that I can see many women having breast cancer that could be caught earlier .. she actually had an attitude about referring me to get specialist , testing .. everything was come back.. she represent this facility “ atascosita location “ poorly . Waited for labs over two weeks had to email asking for results never posted .. I even asked receptionist for manager to contact me .. still no reply it’s over three weeks .. I will NEVER come back and do not recommend this place or dr. Hoang ..

This village medical group is not going to be my choice for care ..

Worst doctor’s visit ever. I have put up with this doctor for years; I should have left long ago. I suffer from four things: depression, anxiety, high cholesterol, and trouble sleeping. Today I asked for a refill for the anxiety medicine, and she said, that if I was "asking" for it, then I must be addicted to it. She then told me that she "Doesn't trust me" with anxiety medicine, because I might overdose and kill myself, because then she would have to go to court and might lose her license. She seemed a lot more worried about her going to court and losing her license than me dying. Then she threw a long winded tantrum, and made all kinds of analogies, treating me like I was in elementary school. I have a master’s degree in mechanical engineering with honors and an academic scholarship - I am not dumb. In the past, I once had had alcohol the night before a liver test, and my AST and ALT levels were high. I haven’t had a drink in over a week. Because of that one test I had months ago, she implied that I was an alcoholic. In 8 weeks she has made me come to her office 8 times. It seems like she is more interested in making money and protecting herself, than helping her patients.
What hurt the most is that I am suffering from depressing, and she said 1) “I don’t trust you”, 2) She then implied that I was an alcoholic, (and she literally smiled as she said that!), 3) She told me that that I was an addict (but not what for), 4) Even though I have had the anxiety medicine before (she prescribed it herself), she won't anymore. So I have a doctor who won't help me with my cholesterol or anxiety problems. 5) My doctor actually mocked me, when I couldn't relate a long medical name with its function - I have had 10 new prescriptions with long names, and she literally made fun of me, because I couldn't remember them all. I have a cheat sheet I made that relates the long technical names to the function of the medicine, but I didn’t have it on my person at the time.
I go to doctors for help and support, not to be insulted, accused, criticized or denied treatment. I have never met a more selfish doctor in my life (and I am 48 years old). So, now I am without ANY cholesterol medicine or anxiety medicine. And I was treated like a moron. Some people don’t actually have the grace to help those in need. And I am in need.

I was a walk-in, very sick and the office was very busy, but they took me in. Dr Mindy was very unstanding, professional and took the time to listen to me. Now a month later, I am still seeing her as my doctor, and doing much better. Thank you Dr Mindy and your staff for helping me.

Dr Mindy has been my doctor for a long time. She is very professional, has a great staff and a wonderful small office atmosphere. I never feel rushed and am sure I am living better because of her care.
