Went to hospital for and required emergency appendectomy. This doctor told me I was not a candidate for laparoscopic surgery. Now I read in these comments that he doesn't do that. So now I have a big scar and the incision site feels depressed and mishapen. I also have coronary artery disease and post surgery he wanted to raise my BP with some drug. My cardiologist and I had to intervene and tell him no. After I have a follow up with him I get my medical leave papers from them in the mail and it states that I need a carotid enderectomy. Never discussed that with me and I think they might have mixed me up with another patient. Also, he listed my mother as deceased on the paperwork which is wrong and I never told him that. Finally, his hands do shake and I'm not letting him near my carotid arteries even if they do require surgery. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone

This doctor is a surgeon but he does not do laparoscopic procedures. He told me that I needed to have an open procedure for my gallbladder surgery. He told me that I was not a good canidate for laparoscopic gallbladder surgery when I asked. I was 24 years old and just had my baby a few days before. I was so worried about when I could nurse and hold my baby again so I asked the anesthesia person about my fears and they were very honest and told me that it is almost the standard of care that these be done laparoscopic and that I could be home that night with a few tiny incisions instead of several days later with a huge scar that I would need for the open gallbladder surgeon. I was in the pre op area waiting to go back when I was told this. I cancelled and went to another recommended surgeon and it was just as I was told for the laparoscopic procedure. Several of the OR nurses came over and were so happy that I chose someone else. How can this happen to people that don't know?

He was extremly uncaring and extremly unsesitive to my needs. anyway i wake up from my surgery and i almost freaked ou when i saw how he butcher my stomach.. I was a very active female with a awesome stomach. he had me cut from my bikini line and 3 inches above my belly button and had staples and wraped around stiches it look a rib roast. when i came to he told the nurses to give me shots in my muscles instead of through an iv it was so painful and unjust. one nurse i cannot say her name felt so bad for me she gave me my pain meds IV. He refuse to give me more than 10 mg of pain med. I was excurating pain. He also with the meds gave me somekind of cramp induce med with the pain medicine. i get so mad when i think of how he butchered my stomach it still is so swollen and i am disfugured from his incompetence

What a horrible man. Insensitive to my need to know what was going on with my diagnosis. Kind of just believes he is right about everything with no need to ask the actual patient how they feel or their opinion. God complex.
