Wants you to get shots ever month no concern about your pain more cocern about money wanting patients two make 4 visits a month just to get your scripts so he can get 4 office visits out of you for a 1 month supply

I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience as a patient. Dr. Ghorbani listened to me and made a treatment plan. The staff have been great. the times I have had to wait for a brief period but that's true for all medical practices since it's hard to determine how long a patient needs!

I was a patient of Dr.Ghorbanis 2 years.He is a narcissist..Ego essentric wanna be and a fraud.I am in absolute agreement that he presents deeply as compassionate.However.It is only geared towards only his personal gains and NEVER in best interest of his patients.This doc has not only Criminal Charges against him...but also presents as integrative anastesiologist when IN FACT he is on probation for prescribing opioids.I have a pending Medical Malpractice Suit going on.YOU ALLS.DO YOUR RESEARCH.My suggest is to STAY AWAY.I am in process with other docs.and government organizations and endless others that have taken over his negligent actions.Witnessed documented exchibited and processed.Also investigate how well he is perceived by other Pain Manage Docs.The results may shock you.

I arrived for my initial appointment on time and quickly filled out the paper work. The waiting room was nearly empty. After an hour I was informed by the staff that the doctor was running late and would not be available to see me for another hour. The staff offered me to see the nurse practitioner immediately instead of waiting. My problem was a little unusual so I was uncomfortable with that. I made an appointment to see the doctor--a specialist in pain management. I had to show up at my day job, so I left. That strategy of extending the number of patients seen by the practice must be very lucrative. I can't imagine the nurse practitioner gets paid as well as a doctor. (No other doctors were listed at the practice, but there is a large support staff.) After leaving I searched his name on the web and discovered how incredibly self promotional he is. It's very clear where his priorities are!

Overall this practice is extremely poor in terms of how professional and polite they treat patients. 1) Chevy Chase, MD location plays ghetto hip hop music in the lobby. 2) Ghetto front desk staff, rude, makes mistakes, does not apologize for mistakes that caused days of delay in receiving prescriptions, directly lies such as saying he made calls or sent properly filled out faxes (Ryan). 3) I had to increase pain meds due to flare ups and therefore I needed a new Rx, I was told "Everyone gets a Freebee" but you can't do that again, even though an ER doctor advised me to do so. 4) Dr. Ghorbani has extremely poor bedside manners and said "We're doing this guy a favor with his type of insurance." 5) Dr. Ghorbani visibly shows his anger when frustrated and treats you like a third class person if you do not have money. 6) They are Nazi's by making you perform a urine test with every visit. 7) They refused to work with the local hospital to help manage flare ups. 8) Overall POOR RATING

Dr. Ghorbani was knowledgeable and extremely understanding of what I was experiencing. His staff made me feel comfortable from the moment I entered the office and it was like they actually felt my pain. Dr. Ghorbani suggested I try physical therapy and acupuncture. He didn't prescribe a bunch of pills which would make it impossible for me to function on a daily basis. His treatment put me back on feet and I am most grateful.
