My wife and I were Dr. Cluff's patients for 10 years. On 05/29/15 (traffic was bad due to weather), I drove 2 hours to see Dr. Cluff. Upon arriving 9 minutes late by my watch (14 minutes late by is receptionist's clock) I was told I could not be seen as I was over 10 minutes late. Having had positive experiences with Dr. Cluff in the past, I could not believe I was turned away sick for being more than 10 minutes late on such a nasty weather day. I asked to speak to Dr. Cluff or his nurse but the office manager and receptionist refused. I tied to call Dr. Cluff but was not able to leave a message for him direct. The office manager said this was Dr. Cluff's policy and I would have to reschedule. I had already taking 2 hours from work and could not afford to take more time off. Either Dr. Cluff has little to no idea how bad his patients are treated by his staff or truly does support turning sick folks away after a 2 hour drive to see him. Either way, it is a shame my wife and I are now looking for a Dr. who cares more about treating the patient's illness than their punctuality given the DFW traffic in the rain.
