Took my dad to see him once. He ordered blood work and asked a fair amount of questions. He seemed a little nervous. The issue I have is that he didn't seem to be retaining the information that was given to him. He would ask does it hurt when I push here? and my dad said yes for several stops and no on a few. The doctor felt around his whole abdomen 3 or 4 times asking the same thing and my dad answered the same each time with an increase of annoyance. When the visit was done he told us he would prescribe some pills for muscle spasms of the bowel. Then he said, you don't seem to have any tenderness in your abdomen so I don't suspect pancreatitis but because of your recent history of it we will do some blood work to know for sure. My dad and I look at each other, slightly confused. The pills given to him really didn't help with the pain and the blood work confirmed mild pancreatitis. Nice doctor just seemed a little lost. But he was moving in the right direction.
