He understood without me telling him what my physical limitations were based on my history. How refreshing!

Prescribed me a nerve blocker medication I told him I had side effects with and an anti inflammatory. His solution was to take it before bed. Viewed an xray that was a year old and said my arthritis was minimal however my pain isn't from arthritis so why he kept focusing on that was beyond me. He used to manage my pain while I waited for injection or procedural appts but it seems he didn't care that I was in as much pain as I was in because the "arthritis was minimal" in a 1 year old xray. Excused me from having to leave work that night and said I can return to work the next day. I'm told I'm not disabled enough for disability but I can hardly function at work due to the unbearable pain. Are there any doctors left in this world that care?

Dr. Timothy Staacke has been a ‘God Send’ to me. I started seeing him years ago after a back doctor wanted to fuse the bottom 5 vertebrates on me and also put me on fentanyl patches for over a year. I had heard horror stories about people with back surgeries and refused to jump into surgery. I heard a little about Dr. Staacke and decided to set up appointment. He explained what was going on with my back and said he would do everything he could to prevent me from having surgery. He also helped me get off the fentanyl patch which was extremely hard, but knowing he was there for me, gave me encouragement. I am now 73 years old and Dr. Staacke has kept me pain free without medications and kept me out of a wheel chair. I can live an active life all because of him.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Staacke, he listens offers suggestions and has helped me more than any other doctor I have ever seen in my entire life.

PM should always be used as a last resort. First appointment with this dr and not one test was ordered other than a urine sample. 3 forms of pills were prescribed based on a prior exray from another doctor. This is unusual practice to me. If you got shot in the head would you go to a PM for pills or a specialist to fix the issue with the bullet?
