Dr. Wolff was extremely professional. I never have pexperienced a neurosurgeon take such great care familiarizing himsellf with my spine's structure. He referred to my CT scan several times while asking me to follow very simple instructions. He explained how important it is to know how MY spine was structured making a well informed plan in which he explained to me thoroughly. Thank you Dr. Wolff.

Dr. Wolff is a very professional doctor who is extremely knowledgeable. He won't waste your time trying to get money out of you! He approaches problem logically and with the minimal pain to keep the patient comfortable. I am very proud my cardiologist and I chose him. I have to learn to listen more and talk less.

I have experienced two lower back surgeries within the last 6 years; a failed surgery performed by Dr. Marcus Schmitz and a recent and highly successful corrective surgery by Dr. Charles Wolff.
In December 2013, Dr. Schmitz performed surgery on my herniated L4/L5/S1 disc and implanted two supporting titanium pins. During a 4-day post-operative hospital recovery and follow-on office appointments I never saw Dr. Schmitz. I finally had to request a special appointment to discuss the substantial pain I was still suffering in my lower back. Dr. Schmitz dismissed my grievances and said I was going through a healing process and the pain would diminish over time. Five painful years transpired, and my condition never improved.
Finally, in December 2019, Mr. Casey Dull, head of West Florida Hospital rehabilitation center, ordered an X-ray that indicated a loose lumbar support pin and possible failed fusion. I was immediately referred to Dr. Wolff who order additional X-rays and MRI’s to confirm the diagnosis. On July 8, 2019, Dr. Wolff performed surgery necessary to repair Dr. Schmidt’s work. During my hospital recovery, Dr. Wolff came by to visit me every day I was in postoperative recovery to review my chart and check on my condition. On his first visit he briefed me on the surgery and addressed all my concerns. The second day he ordered a CAT scan to ensure all lumbar support pins were aligned and in place. After my release from the hospital Dr. Wolff’s office called to check on my condition. In addition, Dr. Wolff ordered a bone stimulator, delivered to my home, to enhance the fusion healing process. A six-week follow-up appointment, as scheduled with Dr. Wolff, to review a new CAT scan to ensure that my recovery is progressing well.
I am well into my eight week of recovery and have considerable pain relief, not experienced in the years prior to and five years after my first surgery. I cannot say enough about both the professionalism and care I have received from Dr. Wolff, his head nurse Pam Vick, staff, surgical team, and all the West Florida Hospital West Wing 5 post-operative nurses, technicians, and support personnel that took care of me during my recovery. My treatment at West Florida Hospital has been absolutely second to none!
I firmly believe that, having a highly skilled and caring surgeon like Dr. Charles Wolff, who is willing to partner with the patient through the recovery process, considerably enhances the odds of a successful outcome.

Rudest doctor my family and I have ever encountered. Very impatient. Doesn't listen. makes you feel very unimportant and not cared about..like you are slowing him down and he's got something way better he wants to do. Did not explain things well. Got frustrated when I asked him to repeat or explain further. Raised voice at me and appeared angry. Just not a very nice man, much less doctor. Perhaps he needs to seek another profession where he doesn't deal with people as that seems to be very difficult for him. You'd think a brain surgeon could figure that out. Went to see another doctor for my surgery and was very pleased. Thank you Doc Stringer.
