Dr Pons was very helpful to me in dealing with thyroid cancer. He spent a lot of time with me answering questions and planning out a course of treatment. I did not feel rushed in my time with him. He and his staff are very up to date on the latest research.

This man makes you feel so bad about yourself! He was mad that my ob/gym consulted another doctor in his practice and was taking it out on me. He told me that the blood work I had done was meaningless and even though it was abnormal it should have never been ordered. He told me I was depressed and that was causing my issues. The symptoms I was able to tell him he kept shooting down and said I need to talk to my PCP and that "I told you last time, you need to watch what you eat, I know you're going to say you are, but let's be honest, we know you're not...use the my fitness pal app". He said he was sending me for the test that my ob wanted but only to appease me and never even told me where to go or gave me the paperwork for the blood work! I've never left a doctors office crying, but today I did! Please save yourself the heartache and wait for another doctor in this group.

I began seeing Dr.Pons for an overactive thyroid. He seemed to want to focus on my weight more then my thyroid. Unfortunately all he really kept doing was sending me for more blood work and adjusting my medicine each time. He never really explained things to me and I didn't get to actually see him and talk to him very much. He never told me what I could expect, what was normal, what to watch for, and so on. My symptoms have been creating problems and he just didn't seem like he could be bothered with it and he wouldn't answer some of my questions just ignoring them completely. Would not recommend seeing him for a thyroid problem.

Even after spending over $3000 on blood exams and MRI's which all proved my Testosterone was way below the normal leves he did not want to put me on a hormone replacement program which now a days are very common process. He ignored the results from labs and just insisted I give it some time. Also felt like he never listened to me and he always wanted to go by the test results but when those results didnt match what he wanted it he ignored those too. Don't recomend him at all. Much better options out there.

I saw Dr. Pons today and was so impressed by his warmth, compassion, and patience. He spent plenty of time answering my questions and reassured me about my worries. Wish there were more doctors like him in this state!

This person lacks the most primitive manners and knowledge. He makes the patience feel like not only there is nothing wrong with the person, but the Drs that have previously work with the patient are totally ignorant. He is the only one that knows. He wants me to take a particular test and even if I do take that test he would questions the results of the test, what? There is something very wrong with this person.

This doctor has absolutely no clue about Hashimoto's disease or the current understanding of how it manifests and how all the different lab results combined are the key to treating this disorder. Not just TSH. Very behind the times and not able to address this disease.

Dr. Pons has been fabulous in helping my mom and helping me understand more about her condition. He is patient, takes time to answer your questions, follows up, is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He truly cares. He is one of the best doctors I have met in a long time. If I could give Dr. Pons more than five stars I would.

Doctor is behind the times when treating Hashimoto's disease. He only wants to stick to the TSH labs and not the symptoms as well as the labs. He did not help me at all in my quest to get better from my autoimmune disease. He made me feel awful when it came to me not being able to lose weight. He mocked me and made me feel very inadequate.
