I had tried chiropractic spinal decompression, pain physicians, physical therapy with no help. I was not able to stand for more than 10 minutes without serious pain in my lower back. Dr. Bay and I agreed it was time for surgery. It was successful. Dr. Bay said she could not take all of my back pain away, and so I still have some pain, but nothing like before. On occasion I may take non-narcotic for some pain. I would trust my life with this physician!

My back had degenerated so badly by the time I had surgery that it did not help me at all. But that is because I could not afford it when I should have had it. I had serious back problems for 40 years before she tried to help me. I admire Dr. Bay as much as any doctor I have ever met. The office staff is extremely helpful -- contrary to most medical offices today. I think that is her personality rubbing off on them. When my insurance did not get me the correct back brace, Dr. Bay's office gave me an $1800 one -- the best one. In spite of her reputation, she takes ANY insurance, no matter how cheap it is.

Outstanding! Resected my pituitary tumor & then 18 mths later removed a rogue cyst on the same tumor. Personable, caring, communicative & resourceful. Works well with a team of doctors, keeps patient well informed, answers questions & keeps you in the treatment loop, even when presented w/a challenging case such as mine. Understands patient's own resources & offers guidance in terms of treatment, billing and care. My case requires a long term relationship & I'm happy to have found a doctor in whom I can have faith to help me through this complex affliction.

After 2 yrs. I had the same pain as before Dr, Bay operated on my back.She claims she didn't see why.Other surgeons have identified degenerative disks, bulging disks and stenosis. Dr. Bay abandoned me when she didn't correct the problem initially.
