Worst doctor ever. Doesn't listen. Doesn't provide answers. Gives the wrong diagnosis. The only thing he's interested in is getting patients to agree expensive operating room procedures.

Found the doctor to be most helpful. He was very helpful and through with his assessments of my problem. I would highly recommend him. He was easy to talk to and listened and explained very well.

Dr. Bawari’s personality in the office is too perfect, There’s another side of him that forgets he’s working with human beings. He could’ve killed my wife, he injured her spleen, was hospitalize and she is laid up for eight weeks. He didn't call or come to see her in the hospital, when we finally talk to him days later he was rude, no compassion or care. He acted as if she had did something to him. I’d be careful with him, he’s a salesman in the office but does he really care?

Pompous, rude, adrupt, arrogant! Had endoscopic ultra sound, after 3 1/2 hours waiting for him to do procedure (due to family problems at home, per RN), then when I requested summary of ultra sound, he said “ you came for removal of poly, I removed it, anything else follow up in office 7-10 days! Called office, he was not available for 2 months, checked portal for updates, nothing reported! Needless to say, getting a new Dr. someone that cares about their patients!

My problem is "Achalasia" - concerns with swallowing. After considerable research into Achalasia, I desided my best option was a procedure called POEM (PerOral Endoscopic Myotomy). My gastroenterologist then recommended Dr. Barawi. We met and I was impressed with him. Had very successful POEM procedure mid-June, 2017 and just recently a followup diagnostics procedure by Dr. Barawi and his outstanding Team. Office staff members at GI Medicine Associates were diligent and helpful. Highly recommend Dr. Barawi.

After my procedure, I couldn't get any information on what he did or didn't find. I could not contact him and was only allowed to talk to his staff. He treated me for a little over a year for an ulcer that never seemed to get better. I went to another doctor and found out I had acute pancreatitis not an ulcer. I was in pain for over a year because he doesn't have time for his patients or is just a bad doctor.
