I went to Susan Kabis on the advice of a family member. However, I was entirely let down. Dr. Kabis has cancelled on me numerous times after giving me the life challenging diagnosis of Lupus. She had me admitted to the hospital and then almost entirely disappeared. I would not recommend Dr. Kabis if you are looking for actual help with your health.

It's not worth the wait time. Had to wait over 5 hours on one occassion, only to be told she was still at the hospital. Then 4 hours another time. Ridiculous then only to be seen 10 min. They put you in a exam room then the nurse takes your vitals, then you left there waiting thinking the Dr. Is coming, but you hear conversations that shes not even there yet. Dam shame to have one waiting all the time. She ain't that dam good to keep patients waiting. I left and found another one just as good as she is if not better. Her staff is not that knowledgeable. That man needs to go as well, he dont know much about nothing, too dam slow when you ask a simple question.

Great doctor, but there's no reason to schedule people and have them wait for 2 hours. Just rude and inconsiderate. Very knowledgeable, but I can see someone else to take my blood pressure and it won't take 3 hours.

Brought my mom there after a six month wait but felt she really knew her stuff. She ran a lot of tests and made my mom laugh. The only negative to me is that nasty male nurse. Every time I would call he always had an attitude. His wife is the nurse and shes always so nice I just dont understand. I left the office only because of the male nurse I just couldn't take it anymore.

Dr. Kabis is a great doctor but you have to willing to give up precious hours of your life to wait for her. I have waited at the minimum two hours and at the most four hours. Also you must be willing to put up with her office staff who are incompetent, nasty and disrespectful. Kabis is good but after over 8 years of wasting my time and dealing with her nasty staff I switched and it was the best decision I ever made. She is not the only one who knows her stuff.

I went to her and had an allergic reaction to a medication. She was beyond NASTY. I sent her office a fax and called them when it happened and she screamed like I was an animal when I went to her. She might be extremely knowledgeable but really needs to learn bed side manners!!!!

OMG the wait time for soneone with an appointment scheduled five months prior is at least two and a half hours. I hate the unnecessary wait. Besides, there was this lady who told us that she had to wait for over three hours in her last appointment. Unbeleivable. We are definitely switching

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Dr. Kabis. She is EXCELLENT. I went to three other nephrology doctors who couldn't figure out what was going on with me and could not hold a candle to Dr. Kabis. Dr. Kabis never gave up on me and kept looking for an answer and she found it when no one else could. When I tell other doctors that Dr. Kabis is my doctor they have the Upmost respect for her many even saying that she is the best nephrologist in the Tri-State area Personally I think she is the best nephrologist on the East Coast! I went to Columbia University and she is a lot more knowledgeable then they are. Dr. Kabis is AWESOME. You will encounter a wait but she is worth it! I thank god that my husband's friend told me about her. She is strict but she takes peoples health seriously and she is SO SO KNOWLEDGEABLE. I love her and highly recommend her. She is by far the best doctor I have ever seen in my life.
