Very honest and kind. Took good care of me and when he messed up he admitted to it. Caused a hernia during a surgery.

His staff was pretty good, however, I had to wait in the surgery waiting room for over 3 hours to get in for an endoscope. When I finally got into a bed and was waiting again patiently to go in to get my endoscope to help determine why I have been devastatingly ill for the last month, he cancels my appointment and the lady beside me with absolutely no reason why just that it was "one of those days" and he did not even come in himself after making me wait for 3 hours after my scheduled appointment in the waiting room but sent in a lovely nurse who was just trying to do her job. I don't know about anyone else, but I respect his time by coming to my appointment at his choice of agreed time. The very least he could have given me a reasonable answer as to why I waited a third of his shift get in only to be cancelled at literally the last possible minute. The only thing I will say is that I am slightly luckier than the lady who had already been put on the medications for the endoscope then turned away.

Dr. Merg is wonderful, caring and doesn’t ever make you feel rushed. But can I please give his front girl Rebecca 10 stars! So helpful, and she had my issue solved and dealt with in minutes! She is literally the best!

I am so grateful that I was referred to...
Dr. Anders R. Merg
He was obviously the right person for the serious detailed surgery I required for the body to live!
I am thankful he removed all of the grapefruit sized cancer that was obstructing the colon and attaching to the liver and other parts.

My experience has been that your word is impeccable, you are a "tell it like it is" gentleman with wisdom, a balanced sense of humour, and an exceptional touch of care with total confidence and
professionalism.

It has been just over 6 months since surgery...
I am glad to say healing went well... everything works great now!
Thanks again for making a difference, extending the bodies life and kicking cancers butt!!!

Be Well...
Manfred

Easy to talk to, listens well, fun personality, offers insight that is beyond the scope of "western medicine" and takes time to do phone consults too. Great doctor!
