Waited 2 hours in cramped waiting room with 3 other patients that had 3:30 spots. I am a diabetic who's primary physician referred over to this sorry excuse for a doctor. The exam consisted of him saying and I quote "stand up, now sit down, now by my $50 inserts for your shoes. Literally never even looked at my foot. I will repeat him to the podiatry board.

....agreed, the waiting room was absolutely stuffed. then two helpers came in and ask me lots of questions, and when the doctor came in the room, he looked at the written info for a few seconds and then asked me to repeat. What a waste of time and staff. He didn't really listen well, though he was courteous. I felt like he had his mind on other things. He did a biopsy, & I never heard back from them. I called and they were supposed to get back with me, since they didn't have the information at their fingertips, and I never heard back again I have no reason to ever go back. I cannot imagine the one person who posted that she had a good experience. I'm happy for her, but it's plain that most people don't have this experience. He is primarily a surgeon, so part of me wonders if he isn't just filtering through the patience to find someone to do surgery on, and all the other ones can just come and go,

The doctor knows what he is doing, but his scheduling is really bad. His waiting room needs to be twice as big as it is and his staff needs to act like they give a care.

Went to my first appt. today at 4:30pm. When I got there, there was nowhere to sit so I had to stand on a bad foot. Started talking to some of the other patients, one of whom stated she had been there since 3pm. Another said that she's been going for a while and Dr. Hayes makes patient's appointments at the same time. So basically he double books people and then they have to sit there (or stand) waiting forever. An older lady asked the receptionist how much longer it was going to be and she said she had no way of knowing and shut the glass window. I know doctors are busy, but my time is just as valuable as his. Completely unprofessional staff and practice! Will never go back. And if anyone is reading this and decides to go anyway, you better take a folding chair or pray you don't have serious foot injury because you're going to be there for a very long time.

The best foot doctor and the only one I'm going too. I've been there since 2010 and and the staff is always helpful even going out of there way to watch my pocket book as well as my health. I've had surgery three times by the Doctor and wouldn't consider going somewhere else. I didn't understand one of your ratings because my custom shoe orthotics were $350 a pair and really help my ankles and back.

At pre-exam, staff asked questions but when advised something was being reviewed by another dr, they said that’s a no, when dr came in, looked at foot, made me stand up and then said you have flat feet. You’re a candidate for some podiatry thing. Asked what it was, and he started to explain, but abruptly stated he couldn't talk to me W/O more information and walked out. Could hear him in hallways talking about podiatry thingy but he never came back. 2 assistants came in looking for dr, I told them what was said and happened, they said ok and LOUDLY in the hallway repeated what I said to the dr and staff. Still no Dr return. Another male (nurse?) came in, said they are checking on the podiatry?? I asked what they were, he advised they are shoe inserts that cost $350 for each foot. WHAT?? Still no Dr. I said I had to leave to get my son. I collected my stuff, checked at front to tell them never mind and left. Would NEVER recommend this dr to ANYONE!

Dr. Hayes himself is plenty pleasant and seems to be knowledgeable enough, but his staff completely ruins any chance he may have of being efficient or effective. He never gets messages, never follows up, never seems to remember you or anything you may have previously discussed. He appears to be at the total and complete mercy of an ineffective and uncaring staff. I would not recommend him to anyone for any reason.
