Dr. Yoo did not listen to how I was physically feeling. My thyroid health actually got worse under her care. She was constantly in a hurry and she let her PA handle most of my appointments. Front desk staff was extremely rude. I left her practice.

I've been a patient under Dr. Yoo for over 10 years. She is an outstanding endocrinologist--particularly for anyone who has Addison's Disease. I highly recommend her. Attentive, kind, and very knowledgeable.

When I transferred to Dr. Yoo a couple of years ago I was doing well. My health has steadily declined under her “care.” She has refused to listen to my symptoms and has reduced my thyroid medication several times since first coming to see her. She doesn’t like prescribing medication to fit the patient, she prefers to prescribe medication at levels she considers to be “normal.” As a result, my last test results show that my thyroid function is abnormally low, again, and I am as sick now as I have ever been in my entire life—constant coughing, extreme fatigue, dry eyes, dry skin, blurry vision, elevated cholesterol, very painful and weak extremities, shortness of breath with little to no exertion, stomach cramps, headaches, etc. I will be going to see someone else.

Save yourself the trouble and don’t go to see Dr. Yoo. If you’re well, she will MAKE you sick through her refusal to listen and arrogance as a doctor.
