It is now December 1st, 2020. and myself and my family still comment on how exceptional Dr. Harrop was as a compassionate, professional, knowledgeable, etc. etc. physician, not enough superlatives. Miss her greatly every time I have to go the the doctor. We all do.

With the passing of Lois from Sharon, Lois and Bram I think of the amazing doctor who introduced them to my children and they loved them. Dr Harrop left Christmas presents for my children Sara and Cody in the mailbox and signed them from Santa and it was a mystery for months who they were from. The books were I love you Forever and Paper Bag Princess by Robert Munch absolutely wonderful books given to us by a wonderful doctor and person.
We moved out of province and lost touch with her but I do hope she checks this occasionally to know that she made a difference in our lives and I think of you often with pleasant memories.
Thanks
Kelly

I've been a patient of Dr. Harrops since I was very young. My son is a new patient of hers. She has seen me grow up and now my son. I am very sad to hear she will be retiring in the spring of2012. Ive always felt she cared about her patients like noone else. SHe really does treat you like family. I only hope to find another family doctor as caring, deligthful and just overall amazing as she has been. She will be truely missed and I wish her all the best in the future.

Dr. Harrop is the best family doctor around. I lucked out finding her when I was 19. I am now 47 and alive because of her. I was 24 when first diagnosed with breast cancer and from stories I have heard from other women the younger you are at diagnosis the nore likely you are to be dismissed but Dr.Harrop took me seriously and I believe saved my life. She has been there through the trauma of infertility due to the cancer treatments and my divorce and when the cancer returned with a vengeance after 13 years she was right there with, this time for years of treatments almost 100 hours of surgery and countless hospital stays. While she has cut back on her office hours lately as she gets ready to retire I would not trade her for anyone. She is a great truly caring doctor and an amazing woman. I was blessed the day she became my family doctor almost 30 years ago. Thank You Dr. Harrop I agree you are simply the best!

I think Dr. Harrop is absolutely wonderful. It can be a challenge to get in to see her, but so worth it when you do. She has so much compassion and charisma, a story to relate to each and every situation you propose. I hope to have her for a very long time to come... this after having her for the past 23 years.

Dr Harrop was at one time on top of her game. She should have retired a few years ago when she seemed to stop enjoying practicing medicine. She has in the past few years stopped truly listening to my concerns as a patient and has missed diagnosing some major health problems. She was a great physician and now is just one who should retire.

I met Dr.Harrop at a walk in clinic and found her to be one of the rudest doctors I have ever met! Although she was knowledgable, she was abrupt, rude and not friendly at all. When I asked her one question, she literally jumped down my throat and told me "I don't know what you are talking about".. I am SO grateful she is NOT my GP. I see on this site, people have nothing but positive things to say about her. I suggest she does not do walk in clinics, as she does not make good first impressions!

We have been blessed to be Dr. Harrop's patients for over 20 years. She is an excellent diagnostician, warm and caring, prompt, does not rush you. We moved quite a distance away but will not even consider a doctor closer to home - Dr.Harrop is irreplaceable in our opinion. Thank you for such great care and caring.
