doctor Schein is the only doctor who finally diagnosed H H T for me after I had seen many other E n t since my youth. and was the first and only doctor who had an answer for this life long hereditary disorder. He also helpedmy brother who has the same hereditary illness. We think he is a number one doctor. His staff is wonderful.

Dr Schein had treated myself and my 4 daughter's for over 40 years. You may have a wait but once you're in there it's all about you. No rushing you to get to the next patient. His expertise is beyond compare. He was the only one of several doctors seen who diagnosed my daughter's Thyroid cancer. He cares, he's intelligent and not your usual doctor. He's the one who goes the extra yard just for you.

I love Dr. Schein! He has taken care of my daughter since she was a baby. She is now 15 years old. I recently had to consult with Dr Schein for some pretty severe symptoms of an inner ear problem. He is so patient and takes the time to really listen to your concerns. He genuinely seems to care about his patients. He is very thorough and is in no rush to get you out of the office which is why there often times is a wait to be seen. I would highly recommend Dr Schein.

Dr.Schein is fantastic. I have been a patient of his since I was 5 years old, 33 years to be exact. He's taken excellent care of me and everyone I know who has gone to him. He most definitely does not jump into surgery unless it is necessary. He removed my adinoids only when I was young but waited til I was a teenager to remove my tonsils waiting until it was necessary. He and his staff are fantastic when you call the office. He has treated me over the phone when I lived away from Pittsburgh while in college. He's called my home in the middle of the night on a weekend when I called the answering service. He listens to concerns and takes all the time necessary with each patient. He learns more than just the facts about his parients. I couldn't ask for a more caring, knowledgeable ENT to care for my chronic ear problems. He's the best by far.

Worst experience ever. I had my 18 month old daughter with me for a hearing test and had to wait 90 minutes before I eventually gave up waiting to be seen and then left. When I asked the staff how much longer at 50 minutes, they replied that it would only be a little longer. Well 40 minutes later I had it and left. I explained I was tired of waiting and that I was disappointed and the staff lady just stared at me without even apologizing for the wait. Very unprofessional and totally unacceptable wait time, esp for a little toddler who I still now need to be checked. Never again.

I do not agree at all with what that person had to say. I have always had a follow up with any surgery I've had through Dr Schein. He saved my life with his concern for his patients and their health. I felt I was dying and after going to many doctors that had no clue or didn't have the confidence in themselves to perform the surgery that was needed,he did. And for that I am Thankful and Grateful that he has the knowledge and wisdom to do what other doctors wouldn't. He is a GREAT doctor that cares.

You will definitely like his personality but once he gets you in the off he will tell you that you need your tonsils out, no matter what. It is like a factory there. You come in once, they operate, and they never look at you again. They don't even do follow up visits. Try calling their office, the line is usually busy. Have a question? They will do whatever they can to not see you after the surgery. Plus after the surgery my palate hangs too low and I talk different now.
