Dr. Phillips is an excellent doctor. I saw her when she was in practice with Dr. Welch and then I moved out of town. I would still be seeing her if I lived there. In the office with Dr. Welch the procedures were cumbersome, and the staff was often rude and inconsiderate. It got better with time but still needed tweaking. I could not say enough good about Dr. Phillips. She is willing to listen, to think outside the box (a must in endocrinology, I believe) and cares.

I feel the problem with most doctors these days is the use of new technology. Everything the doctor is discussing with you is typed into the computer during the visit by the doctor, leaving very little time for face to face communications or physical examinations. Dr. Phillips is no exception. Her focus is on the computer and not so much the patient and she can be a little short with you at times. Is she an expert in her field; I think so.

I found D. Phillips to be extremely thorough. She took a lot of time with me on my first visit and took into consideration other health issues I am currently dealing with. I found her to be very pleasant and I felt confident when I left her office that the plan she developed for me is a solid plan. I would not hesitate to refer anyone I know in need of an Endocrinologist. It's also very convenient to have the lab right on premises. So far, I can only say good things about my experience with Dr. Phillips and the staff at the clinic.

She was really rude to me and decided to tell me bad news in a very unkind way. I felt like crying when I left and I really can't sstand it when she is asking you questions when she does not even look at you when she is talking to you. It made me feel like she did not want to be there! And if you have to go any doctor you don't want to be there either!

I am surprised to read the other comment about Dr. Phillips. I found her very helpful and willing to answer all my questions. I am in the process of referring a friend to her because of my positive experience.

I don't know why I went back with my follow up with Dr. Phillips. I guess partly because I assumed she must be good to work along side someone as well known as Dr.Welch and partly because I had been there before and the had my blood results. She is so rude and even got short with me when she I began asking questions. I don't know what her problem is. I wanted to leave crying. Her staff, however is extremely kind. They really made up for her. I will be seeing the nurse practitioner there if I ever go back.
