I've always been treated with respect at the Arkansas Pain Clinic. They're very strict and even if you have something valid happen to your meds (mine fell in the sink once), they will not replace them, but that means that no one can play them. They drug test frequently, but most of that is due to federal laws surrounding all of this. I'm always careful and prepared in the event that they do a pill count, but again, the only people who would be unhappy with this strict treatment are the people trying to do something sneaky. Of course, I live in fear that something will be misunderstood or I'll accidentally break a rule and get cut off because they have a lot of power over my quality of life, but that's the risks we are stuck with due to the junkies (I have a burst fracture in my spine - aka broken back). The staff has always been very nice to me, but I'm nice to them too, so that probably helps.

I have been a patient at "Arkansas Pain Center" for almost 3 yrs. I can't imagine anyone saying anything negative about Dr. Garlapati. He is very kind and actually cares about his patients. I don't know if i'm just a rare exception, but I have never had to wait longer than 30 minutes and I believe most people would say that, also. If you are go there with intentions of getting drugs for unethical use, it will most likely not happen. His office does background checks on patients before the first office visit and during your time there as a patient. They also perform random drug tests.

Dr. Garlapati is the best pain specialist in this state. He is strict but kind and caring and VERY professional. He has an excellent staff and I would recommend him to anybody that is really in pain. Drug seekers need not apply!

I went to see this doctor twice. The First time my appointment was at 8:30 and they did not call me to the back until 11:15. The second time I waited once again for two hours but did not let it get to me. Once I got to the back Garlapati was very rude and discriminating towards me and my career. My doctors office will not refer me to another pain management center even after I told them my story. I choose to suffer before I give Garlapati another dime.

I had been seeing Garlapati for about 1 1/2 yrs. I should have known right from the beginning that the patient and doctor relationship was not going to work out. When I first arrived, I came with paperwork from previous doctors in other states, and he didn't even bother to want to take the time to see them. He immediately asked me what I was taking and wrote me a script and I was on my way. I had previously been diagnosed with various issues, but one of them stood out...scoliosis which I had previously been diagnosed with. When he finally decided to send me to get some MRI's, I asked him about the results...my biggest turn off was when he told me that I did not have scoliosis, and when I asked him what had happened to my scoliosis, his response was that it had just disappeared. Honestly, at my age these kinda things don't happen.

Excellent Doctor and staff. I have been a patient for about 6 months, and have never had to wait longer than 20 or 30 minutes. Dr. Garlipati is one of the nicest and most caring Doctors i have ever been to. He wants to get to the cause of the problem and honestly wants to help control the pain, instead of just giving you a script and sending you home. Also, he is backed up by a very friendly staff. Almost forgot, his new facility is "state of the art".

Wonderful doctor and staff. Really wants to get to the root of the pain, not just trying to mask it with pain meds. I wished I knew about Dr Garlapati 5 years ago. Very please with the whole process and care.
