He only staged me as stage IV based on prior report. He wanted me to go through a clinical trial of chemo which was shown to be damaging to the liver and kidneys with little hope for remission. When I asked about alternative treatment, he told me flatly that I was no longer his patient. My objection was that there was no compassion, and no concern for my well being! Just that I was no longer his patient!
