Had same experience regarding obtaining prescriptions. Office told us Dr. had to sign off and we had to come back for it. Told us if we did not buy glasses/contacts from them he did not want us as patients. Wow. Talk about unethical and unprofessional. He was paid for exams and fittings. I guess that's not enough. I believe your prescription belongs to you. He has the best interests of his pocket and not your eyes in mind.

Like many other patients when I asked for my contact prescription, so I could order them online (they were significantly cheaper) I was told that he was making no money off of me and that I should find another eye doctor. After I had just paid over $100 for an contact lens exam. He's an arrogant prick. Avoid him like the plague.

Dr, Wynne is very professional, knowledgeable,and caring. He is extremely thorough and is excellent with his followup. His staff is also topnotch. Our family has been patients for many years, and will continue to be his patients for many more.

When I asked for my prescription, like a few other patients, I was told that he wanted me to purchase glasses/contacts through him. I did so last year, but told him I could get my contacts cheaper elsewhere. He honored the lower price I found, but was hesitant. This year I again asked for my prescription so I could order contacts elsewhere and I was met with resistance. Standing firm, I demanded it and got it. I have now left the practice and am going somewhere with a larger/better selection of glasses and a place that has no problem with me ordering my own contacts online.

Dr. Wynne helped me with a problem that not even opthamologists could solve because he LISTENED to me and didn't make assumptions. I am so happy I went there! The staff for the most part rocks- however, one of the ladies who sits at the front desk REALLY needs to go. She's giving them a bad name!

Although I am satisfied with the care that Dr. Wynne provides, I will not be going back. Like the person above, he told me he did not want me for a patient if I did not buy glasses or contact lenses from them. It was the most uncomfortable and awkward moment when I was told that. I have always gotten my contacts from there, but just this one time, I had extras that I had ordered from somewhere else and did not need to order anymore at the time. Because of that, he told me I might want to find a different doctor. And I will be going to a different eye doctor next year.

Dr. Wynn was very arrogant.He told me he did not want me for a patient if I did not buy glasses from them.Just getting eye exams was not good enough.This was my first visit there...and last.

My husband spent $691 for glasses and contacts. When I asked for a copy of the receipt to submit to my Insurance Company a few months later. I was told it would cost me $10.00. We will never go back there.
