Wonderful, caring and knowledgable doctor who took care of my 12 years old uncontrolled diabetes in just 3 months! He used a multi dimensional approach that really worked well with my lifestyle along with the medication. Can't thank him enough:)

Not a doctor. He tries to sell his expesnive supplments and three thousand dollar weight loss program. If you are looking for a real endocrinologist, see another doctor. The focus of this man is making money off his patients with side business, none of which are covered by insurance and you must pay $$$ out of pocket. BEWARE!

14 months ago I was awakened by my heart pounding and short of breathe. I was 6 months post-partum and 7 months from losing my dad. Unsure of what was going on, I rushed to the ER. My heart rate was 202 and I was in A-Fib, caused by hyperthyroidism. Before discharge Dr Nikravan’s office was already scheduling a same day appt. Dr Nikravan asked many questions, all these questions were familiar to me as I was experiencing all these symptoms anxiety/hair loss/intolerant to heat/fatigue/insomnia. He was very diligent in diagnosing me, after many test I was diagnosed w post-partum thyroiditis. his treatment was monitoring my levels frequently without having to take medications, good news for me, as I was breast feeding. He was great, always reassured me things would be ok. my levels corrected themselves, something he said only 5% of patients experience.I'm so grateful he invested his time and knowledge, instead of prescribing me something I didn't need. I would recommend this dr to anyone

I have nothing but positive things to say regarding my entire experience over the last 7 years. I appreciate his honesty. Additionally, his nurse practitioner, and rest of the staff are fantastic.

This doctor apparently feels that things he has personally not seen in his office don't exist. He felt that a person under 18 could not possibly have an Auto-Immune Thyroid Disease. He told the teen that they were depressed and just trying to be a body size she was not meant to be. ( this is the NICE VERSION of what he said) He made her go off her med's due to his ignorance. Each day she got sicker and sicker forcing us to prove she had antibodies despite no possibility of being depressed( she was on antidepressants). Fortunately she had less anxiety while her metabolism and other body functions got worse.

Great person. Great physician. Very knowledgeable. He cares about patients. It is true that he is very busy, but that's only because he is very good at what he does. I'm puzzled by the person offended that Dr. Nikravan told him "you're too young for this.." that only means he feels bad for you. It's an expression of sympathy more doctors should have.

I only saw this guy twice and never wanted to see him again. Very rude and arrogant and would not recommend him anyone. I later found out I had diabetes 1.5, but was early on in my diagnoses when I saw him. He yelled at me "you're too young for this!" I was 37 at the time and not the usual suspect for diabetes 2. I felt depressed after seeing him, only twice. I felt he was a terrible human being and cold.

Takes 2 months just to get an appointment. He rushes through your appointment and talks too fast. You feel like an inconvenience to ask questions about your health concerns. I have to find another endocrinologist-he is just too busy. I read another review on him and was suprised he wants to medicate so much. He doesnt want to run tests, medicate or anything...just wait and see every 2 months for my neck to get larger & larger and my symptoms to worsen.
