I was barely diagnosed with MS and she prescribed a serious infusion medication with serious side effects. My gut instinct was that the drug she prescribed was too risky for a new diagnosis of MS. And too intense/strong for an uncertain condition. At that first appointment, she did not even mention other MS medications that I remember

Terrible office. No communication at all. They cancel your appointments even though your travel 4 hours, and do not follow through with you plan of treatment. Stay away from this office. Do yourself a favor . They do cancel appointment but at very last minute like when your there . Also they never call to confirm appointment, Not do they return your call. You call and are told to leave a message only to find out the voicemail is full. Staff is rude, sorry, but they are lazy as well. Dr. Bass is aware and does nothing about this. She must be getting paid well from The pharmaceutical companies to speak , to not care about her patients or her staff negligence .

I'm not going to deny that Dr Bass helped me in every way. She gave me the lowest cost she could for out of pocket pay. She took her time to listen and to also explain anything I needed to know. She also was willing to even humor me when I had thoughts about new medications until the right fit was found. BUT, and I do mean but, I was neglected to be informed until 2 yrs later, the actual reason for my seizures. That is the only negative remark I have.

I was misdiagnosed by this doctor with MS and I later found out I did not have MS at all.

I was sent to her after seeing Neurologists at BAMC, Rheumatologists and she diagnosed me, ruled everything else out since I did have Lyme Disease-I disliked the woman who half heartedly taught me how to inject Copaxone. She agreed that HgH may help and my Doctor on post was willing to prescribe it to me, just needed the dosage, but getting her office to call Dr. Munante back was a pain. It never happened.
All and all, if I ever go back to Texas, I'll definitely go back to her. Considering I was diagnosed with a possible Brain Tumor...and SLE Lupus...on and on. It was a relief, but still scary.

Avoid this office like the plague. They misdiagnosed my husband. Cancelled on us. Made us wait 1.5 hours in the back waiting area and we were scheduled at 8:30. I could go on about this nightmare but please take your loved ones elsewhere.

I have gone to Dr. Bass for 3 years. In the beginning, the staff was courteous and the doctor very caring and helpful. I am not sure what is going on lately, but now she cancels appointments at the last minute. The office has cancelled my last 2 appointments. This is a huge inconvenience since I live out of town. Her staff doesn't call back. I have to call up to 4 times before I get a call back. I am so frustrated lately that I will have to find a new doctor. No patient dealing with the health problems her patients have should be treated that way. I have not felt like I matter for the past 6 months. Time to move on.

She is a wonderful Neurologist. She is very caring, polite, and tells he patients the honest truth. She has never misdiagnosed any patient. She sits and listen's to each of her patients and concerns that they may have without walking away in a hurry. I would recommend Dr. Bass to my family, friends, and relatives.
