Anyone considering going to a new dentist should look up their license on https://www.dentalboard.org. When you look up John Maddox, you will discover he has a public file. You can request a copy of that public file. The contents may shock you, but they may explain a lot. It also explains why his wife is a bit neurotic. Why doesn't he prescribe pain meds after he has caused a problem to cause pain? He can't! Why does he want to refer you to an endodontist after he has screwed a tooth up? That's his only option. Why are they obsessed about reviews? They are paranoid about more people discovering the truth. Find another dentist, but look them up here first.

Dr. Maddox is without a doubt the dentist I would recommend to anyone. I have had all types or work done- from fillings to crowns and bridge work and have never had a problem with anything. He really knows his trade and is always very professional. He also has a very caring and calming nature which is important if you're a little nervous sometimes. Great office staff too...all the girls are really sweet!
