I saw Dr. Haber for very painful plantar fasciitis over 10 years ago, he tried cortisone injections and custom orthotics (which I love and still wear). This wasn't 100% effective but he wanted me to try another procedure called Extracorporal shockwave therapy, I did have the in office procedure and within two weeks I was back to being pain free and exercising. At that time other doctors weren't even performing that procedure but he was. A few years ago I had a fall and injured my foot, even though it was a Saturday Dr Haber came into the office and took X-rays and wrapped my foot (much more than they do in the ER). Furthermore, I have referred countless family and friends throughout the years. Thankfully he took care of my husbands ingrown toenails before our vacation last year. He really takes the time to explain your condition and any procedure to you. If my feet start to hurt again I know where to go, I have had only good experiences with the Dr. Haber.

Dr. Haber did more for me in the one visit than the 15 times I saw my other podiatrist - No Joke.

Doesn't return phone calls to a patient that has been with him for 7 months. (I'm sure he returns phone calls to some of his talk radio celebrity friends.) If I did that to people in my profession, I wouldn't last too long. Only gives you part of the scenario - complete alternatives should be spelled out after a few visits. One must be his own doctor to discover other modalities and methods of treatment. Typical treatment for plantar fasciitis - a cortisone shot, and "see you in six weeks." Biggest criticism is not his expertise, but his deportment and demeanor. Sometimes, aloof and unapproachable. You would think this would not be, after waiting 30-40 minutes, first in the waiting room, and then in the examination room. A disappointing expereince - and I still have the condition.

He was amazing. I went to Doctor Haber for my Fungal Toe Nails and in just 6 short weeks had had the fungus gone. he knew what he was doing the whole time. Now I'm ready for next summer and my next Caribbean vacation
