Dr. Nawas took me through lung cancer three times. He saved my life.

I had lung surgery (non-cancerous nodules) in December 2013 and Dr. Nawas continues to be involved in my follow-ups. I would love to have him as my primary physician -- he is everything you want in a doctor. Negative ratings must be for another doctor, because Dr. Sammy I. Nawas is No. 1.

Dr Nawas took care of my father, he was diagnosed with lung cancer. He explained the diagnosis and treatment, he took the extra time to show us the Cat scans and explain the location of my fathers cancer and what we needed to do to treat it. We had a great experience with him and his staff and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr Nawas is a kind and compassionate doctor, he listened to me, took as long as I needed and I had alot of questions for him. He answered each one and did not rush me at all. I love his bedside manner he is a great doctor. His staff is excellent and they helped me through my pretesting process. I highly recommend Dr Nawas to anyone.

I am astounded by the reviews on 4-4-11 and 3-20-11 because my experience with Dr. Nawas is completely opposite of these reviewers. Perhaps they have even misidentified him for someone else. I have seen Dr. Nawas 2X with my mother for stage one lung cancer and find him to be very knowledgeable, and compassionate. I would rate his bedside manner as one of the best I have ever encountered. This Dr. spends a generous amount of time carefully explaining the disease, treatment options,and answering questions in an understandable way. For my moms visit the entire family was present and Dr. Nawas ran around the office collecting extra chairs to accommodate us. This behavior speaks volumes about his character.

Was not impressed with his bed side manner. Was not helpful only spent 5 minutes with me and told me I had a stage 3 cancer w/o any clinical backing only a pet scan no biopsy. Left his office very confused. Smiled as he told me I had cancer. I think he just wants to cut to make the money. Has no compasion.
