I took my daughter to him for an emergency extraction. She has never had any problems at a dentist with the needles, fillings, orthodontics, etc. I was told I would be brought back with my daughter after he had assessed the molar that was just coming in already decomposing. The next thing I know, I hear a raised voice and she comes running out shaking and crying and he's rambling about how he can't help her, he doesn't deal with people who grab his hands. I caught up to my daughter in the car still shaking and sobbing. He had asked her (a MINOR) if she wanted the tooth out, and then proceeded to administer the novocaine. She opened her eyes to him over her with a 2nd needle and flinched. She said he started yelling at her and continued to move in with the second needle and she panicked. Well, yeah! I've had the occasional flinch myself. How does yelling at the patient get them to trust you?!

I had a problem with an abcess. He took me right in and didnt charge too much. He is sort of right to the point, no sympathy. but he did a good job of getting the tooth out with out breaking it. I guess thats all that counts. If you want sympathy...............I guess take a teddy bear
