I've been highly satisfied with Dr. Kiel and his office staff. Saw him for a "funky" looking toenail. He explained the nail's appearance could be due to a variety of different conditions. So rather than "guess" at what it was and treat accordingly, he took some toenail clippings and sent them off to pathology. Once he had a definite diagnosis (fungus), then he prescribed medication for treatment. He and his staff were very helpful in recommending a pharmacy with the lowest pricing for this rather expensive drug.

Do NOT go to Dr. Keil. I went for a swollen painful toe. He had me come back every week, and sent me out for insane tests that had nothing to do with my condition, then wouldn't even review the results. He didn't actually do much of an exam, but declared repeatedly that it wasn't an infection. After several months of this, (and a couple of times when he actually shrugged his shoulders at me!!!) I finally went to another doctor who diagnosed me in 15 minutes. Guess what, not only WAS it an infection, it was an infection in the BONE. Now I am facing months of IV antibiotics, a picc line, and partial AMPUTATION because of delays in my care!!! He is nothing but greedy, at the expense (financially and health-wise) of his patients!!!

Dr. Kiel is an amazing doctor, and his staff is full of friendly, compassionate people. I can honestly say that my visit to Dr. Kiel's office was the single best experience I've ever had with a doctor. I had a splinter stuck deep in the bottom of my foot, and an urgent care doctor said that I needed to have it surgically removed as soon as possible. When I found Dr. Kiel's office, the receptionist worked hard to fit me into the roster for the day. Dr. Kiel was in high spirits, and he verified twice that there was something in my foot (through xray and ultrasound). He then assured me that he could remove it with just a local anesthetic rather than having to have outpatient surgery. Two shots later, my foot was numb and the splinter was removed! He was very gentle, very genial, and very fast. I appreciate Dr. Kiel, and while I hope I'll never have to see him for this specific problem again, he'll be my go-to and recommended podiatrist from now on. Too bad he's not a GP, too!

This guy is very unethical. I went to him for a new set of orthotics because I was told he custom fit them. He saw me and didn't do an exam, just looked at my feet, didn't have me stand or walk. Told me the orthotics would be $495 all inclusive, all followup everything, I specifically asked him about that. Well he just had a technician come in and do the molds and sent them off. I came to pick them up and he just had me put them in my shoes and said I had worn orthotics previously so I didn't need anything else. Later I got a bill for the office visit to pick up the orthotics, I called complained and was told he had waived the fee. Then I got a bill for the plaster of paris for the molds (which would cost about 50 cents). I called and complained and was told I didn't have to pay. I did some search on the internet and found out his orthotics cost about $95 from an independent lab. He was very arrogant and bad mouthed other professionals to me. The orthotics were OK but you can get the same thing for less than one hundred on eBay, shipping and molds and everything. He didn't give any personal service, anybody could do what he did. Don't trust him, he is a crook.

This "doctor" was dishonest and unethical in his treatment of my foot disease. He did not explain to me the risks (of treatment not working) and after expending 3 years of listening to his advice, with no results, he lied and said he gave me this information when we started treatment. He has also committed malpractice on one other occasion when he I went to have an ingrown toenail removed (on a big toenail) and he cut off the wrong toe. I allowed him to do the second surgery on the left toenail. He did not charge me, but I should have filed a lawsuit against him at that time. He is bad news. My advice: don't go to him.

Dr. Kiel is the absolute best podiatrist. He performed all my foot surgeries (ingrown toe nails, bunions, and corns on both feet) from the mid 80's to my last surgery in 2007. I am still able to wear my 3 inch heels. He informed me when to start wearing flat shoes and informed me not to wait until my foot completely healed, but to wear shoes even if it is only 30 minutes at a time. I followed directions and healed just fine. My only regret is having my toe nail permanently removed in the 80's due to repeated ingrown toe nails. Now I can not find anyone in world who performs cosmetic toe nail surgery. Hopefully, some smart surgeon will come up with a solution before I leave this earth so I can wear sexy open-toe shoes again...LOL

Dr. Kiel is great, I am a diabetic, so I need to take extra care of my feet, but I am constantly having accidents, like the time I dropped a fridge on my toe. He told what to expect and offered excellent quality fo care. He also diagnosed and treated my spur heel. My only problem with his staff is that ONCE they asked me to stand on one leg while they xrayed my foot. I walk with two canes, not gonna happen and it took me a few tries to get that across to them for some reason.
