I came to see him for plantar fasciitis. My pain was so severe I figured I'd have to h
ave an injection or worse but I was fitted with bilateral orthotics. When I walked out of the office the pain was gone never to return. I was just amazed.

I was employed by Dr. Greteman for over 10 years. I can testify that he is a very kind, caring and considerate person. As a professional he is honest and skilled. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is seeking a podiatrist.

Dr. Greteman was recommended after I had seen another doctor and wanted a second opinion. I had a complicated bunion - hammer toe - second toe off its knuckle. This toe was the puzzle for my first opinion. When Dr. Greteman looked at my foot and the x-ray, he took a pad out of his desk drawer with a drawing of a foot on it and said, We'll do this and this and this, addressing each toe and drawing it out on the paper. I knew immediately that he knew what he was talking about and would be the doctor doing the surgery. It was a complicated foot reconstruction with a large cyst on the bunion. Dr. Greteman gave me good follow up instructions; ice, elevate, stay off foot - Wanting to have a good working foot, I followed his directions carefully. I can say, I HAD NO PAIN. I mean no pain at all. It has been three months and I am walking fine and the foot is not swollen. It has been a very positive experience. Dr. Greteman loves feet - he has done a fantastic job on my "new right foot."

He see's residents in the nursing home facility and he is just a jerk (to put it nicely). He has NO bedside manner, he is impatient, and has to have things his own way or he throws a fit! You should not be a doctor if you dislike people and do not have the patience for them! We are now looking for someone else to take his place/service.

Simple orthotics update turned into multiple visits and knee pain. He did ensure his work and did not charge for the 4 additional visit I had to make, however there is no reason the 4 other visits should have been needed. I left feeling like he was using trial and error instead of practicing science based medicine. In 3 of the visits he used his pen and what must have been a hot air gun to change the orthotics until I thought they felt right. Only problem with that is I am not a doctor and I have no idea the science behind how orthotics should be aligned to ensure they are working correctly. Overall very disappointed with the care I received.
