I have been seeing Dr Torres for years and have observed the decline of service in her office. The last time I was there was to have my B12 checked. They drew my blood, then nothing. I called a week later to get the results and was told the lab didn't check my B12 level but everything else was fine. Now they want be to come back and do it all again. BTW, the wait is always 30-45 mins.

Because a Doctor/Patient relationship is seriously impacted by the administrative staff he/she has in his/her office, I am not able to give a very good rating for this doctor. The staff is disorganized, unresponsive to patient requests, and must be reminded to follow-thru. I am so very disappointed and believe I will have to find another doctor in order to manage my healthcare. My new HMO requires referrals from Dr Torres before I can continue my routine healthcare requirements--I have now been waiting 2-weeks for promised data (I have had to move out scheduled appointments and may need to move them even further out if the info is not received shortly). Phone calls are rarely able to get thru to the office and can take up to a week or more to get to speak with someone--the "roll over message" indicates the office is closed and will open the following Monday. It was explained to me it is simply because when all lines are in use the call rolls over to the message... No, this is not acceptable.

This so-called doctor is the definition of worthless & unfortunately I've been to enough doctors to know. I woke up with severe pelvic pain. I work at an ultrasound school that employs world renowned physicians. I went to work and asked a colleague to scan me & we found a large cyst in my ovary. I went to Dr Torres who wanted to order a CT. This wasn't my 1st rodeo w/ my ovaries. I told her I'd like her to order an official ultrasound but she insisted. I agreed b/c she's my doc. While waiting for my CT even the radiologist called her to tell her she ordered the wrong test BECAUSE YOU CAN'T SEE GENITALIA WELL IN CT's. She insisted. $1525 later I can't buy Christmas presents. I ended up needing surgery and almost lost my ovary at 26. Icalled the office mngr to request financial help with Dr Torres' mistake & instead I get a letter in the mail firing me as a patient. I can't believe this woman hasn't lost her license yet. Only good employee there is PA Gore. It's like high school there.

I have a fear of doctors, & hospitals, always have, Dr. Torres has been great to work with gets me in and out and always takes the time to ensure I'm comfortable. She appropriately treated my ADHD and Depression with a new medication that got me off controlled substances, and works much better overall. The appointment time is never the start time, which could be managed better, but overall I'm very very happy, and much healthier.

The doctor gave me medicine that I was allergic to two times and she was not concerned at all. When I called all she told the nurse to tell me was to go to the hospital. I had already been to her twice in one week. She wanted me to continue paying copays for something that she caused by prescribing medicine that I was allergic to. Furthermore, every time I visit the office, she takes blood to get more money from the insurance company. It's ironic that no other doctor takes blood for a cough or MONEY GOING HERE!!!! By the way, I went to the walk-in clinic and they gave me medicine in 5 minutes to resolve the allergic reaction. Wow!

I am making it a 2012 goal to seek a different doctor out. I like Dr. Torres very much as a person but worry that if I come down with something serious that office of hers will be the death of me. The office is staffed with incompetent people. They have zero personalities which is not going to heal you but would be nice to have. Regarding your health situation, never call back with test results. Once you leave, you feel like it's going to happen again. It does, no follow-up from them. Don't bother asking when the results are in. So they will start you on an antiboitic before you know what you have and then not call you to tell you what you have. Same lack of cooperation goes for prescription handling. Keep looking don't stop here and waste your time and money.

I have to agree with the majority here. Dr. Torres is fabulous. Very knowledgeable and personable. Great bedside manner! Her staff however leaves much to be desired. They are extremely rude, from the front desk to the MAs. I understand an occasional wait time, however, it is ridiculous that when I am the first appointment of the day and I have to wait an hour and a half to see the doctor. I have never been seen within 30 minutes of my appointment, even after calling to verify the doctor was running on time. Unfortunately, Dr. Torres lost my business due to the unprofessional nature of her staff. I wish she would correct her staff's behavior, because I truly think she is an amazing physician. However, I pay for treatments, not to be insulted.

Dr. is fine, but staff is unprofessional. Office is dirty, with dead roaches in the light fixtures, and dust balls on the floors in exam rooms. Table paper rolls are on these floors. Appointments are made every 10 minutes, which is absurd. Be prepared to wait a long time, as Dr. cannot catch up or stay on time with these intervals. The patient's time is not respected, and the office makes no apologies. Office won't take Rx refills by phone. Corporate medicine -- GMA isn't spending money on this office. My history was taken by an individual with two inch nails, who could barely hold the pen. Why does the Dr. tolerate this? Who sets the standard here?

$97 for a flu shot is outrageous, especially after being told $11 then being called a liar by staff
