I had surgery with this doctor (Tao) for two procedures and was left with incredible bruising around my eyes. I followed instructions. Five day post op check with great amount of bruising I was left in the filled to the brim waiting room area for over 1 and a half hours with "consultation" new business folks that were sick, chatty and I was in pain and exhausted after getting myself to the appointment. This doctor is into making money over true patient care. I asked the staff why they would let a fresh post op patient sit in the waiting area as he pitched business to consultations and was told it was the doctor's perogative on how he handled his business. Can't tell you how disappointed this was. Once he saw me, it took him 10 minutes to remove the sutures and told me to come back in three months. Disgusting experience on the post end. His work, so far, in my recover is average. I still have not received the results from the pathology on biopsy and it has been seven days post op. Yes, I did request it when I got my 10 minute audience, but he had not received the results yet. Most of us would be nervous about the potential of a cancer read on a biopsy, and would like to have our mind put at ease. Not with this doc. Also, when you first do a consultation, and ask for an estimate, they make you go through all the steps as if you are going to have the surgery, including filling out all the paperwork before they will give you a quote. My surgery cost out of pocket, $5500. What a way to treat a paying cash "customer." You can do better out there, I am sure. Just know its the money here not the patient.
