Biography

Dr. Griffin is a Board-certified Radiation Oncologist with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Pinellas County. She received her medical degree from the University of Michigan and completed her residency in Radiation Oncology at Northwestern University in Chicago. She was awarded a fellowship in Radiation Oncology at the Princess Margaret Hospital. Prior to joining Florida Cancer Specialists in 2012, she served as medical director at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago. In 2009, she was voted Physician of the Year at Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Illinois. With the use of intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) she is able to directly target cancer tumors and spare surrounding organs and normal tissue.
