My family's interaction with Dr. Stiegemeier, Dr. Duhaime, and staff has been disappointing at best. They have been our optometrist for approximately 10 yrs. As part of my wife's most recent contact update, after 12+ appointments and 14(!) contact lenses, Dr. Stiegemeier indicated they did not know how to resolve the comfort of my wife's GP contact lenses and rather than complete the process-they formally terminated our relationship. This after prescriptions and lens designs of their choosing varied greatly between the two doctors and unprofessional dealings with their staff. Our request was simple, clear vision and comfortable contacts. But four plus months after the first appointment they were able to comfortably fit only one eye. We indicated the other lens was still uncomfortable but at our last appointment we were told by Dr. Stiegemeir, "that's as far as I can go - I have too much money invested in you, just put drops in your eye." She then terminated our relationship in writing!
