I found Dr. Henderson to be a very caring and knowledgable doctor. She is very empathetic. She gave me suggestions for improving my health that went beyond simply suggesting medication. I highly recommend her. Hard to find docs like her these days. Other docs are always in such a hurry & one gets the impression that they don't want to take the time to listen to the patient. Dr. Henderson is just the opposite: she takes her time and truly listens.

I'm almost 40 and have seen my share of physicians. Some are great listeners and diagnosticians, empathetic and engaged. Some not so much. Dr Hallal Henderson falls into the latter category. My impressions across several visits: - her bedside manner is clinical and cool, leaning to cold - she seems more interested in her laptop than the patient - she asked no questions about my life or background which demonstrated she had no interest in developing a lasting doctor/patient relationship - as a PCP, rather than coordinate or manage my care, she seemed eager to hand me off to specialists, even after they said the problem didn't stem from their specialty - her diagnosis was always narrow and she didn't seem interested in exploring other possibilities - she kept taking a one size fits all approach, telling me about drugs and procedures rather than starting with the patient first Not recommended.
