Dr. Wood is extremely patient and kind. He spends time with you and truly listens to what is going on with you. I highly recommend him.

Excellent Psychiatrist. Gave me hope! After being admitted to Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health and no will to live, the proper treatment provided gave me hope for my future.

Dr. Wood is the 1st Psychiatrist in 28 years of seeing Psychiatrists, My last Psychiatrist I had for 12 years. My family thought I just needed another opinion. Dr. Wood gave me same diagnosis as all Psychs, but he was the ONLY Psychiatrist who layered the diagnosis differently, that may sound confusing but by layering it properly, the treatment was focused differently and of coarse ongoing treatment. My family said they have been telling me for years, but I believed my Dr. that I had for the past 12 years. I finally after years of hopelessness had a real diagnosis and now I am finally being treated accordingly. Thank you Dr. Wood! Today I am happy to be alive and excited for the future. My family can see a difference in just 10 days.

Shaun Wood is harmingpeople rather than helping. He’s noticeably agitated and impatient during the appointment. I took it very personally as I’m a big wimp. My sister who used to go to him said that she experienced the exact same thing with him. You’ll walk out feeling badly. Maybe even shed a few tears. Sucks when your depressed and your own doc thinks you suck.

Completely arrogant and condescending. He already has a "book defined" diagnosis upon the initial meeting. The initial meeting may last 30 minutes if you are lucky. Sadly, he is unwilling to change his diagnosis upon further appointments and information. This is due to his inability to assess his patients and think for himself. He is willing to risk a patients health rather than admitting HE has made a mistake with his initial diagnosis. I definitely would not recommend Dr. Shaun Wood as a physician. Medicine, as you know, consists of politics. I believe this is the only way Dr. Shaun Wood had been able to practice as long as he has without a lawsuit.
