I saw dr long for a prostate problem I was having ,I found him to be very courteous, and kind, he explained everything to me in detail. He took care of my biopsy in the beginning, and explain everything step-by-step through my battery of tests that were needed for my diagnosis. I also found his staff to be very accommodating and caring. I would recommend Dr Long to anyone who is having a serious problem with their prostate.

He was incredibly rude to me and barely answered any of my questions. I overheard him complaining about me to a nurse (the nurse was defending me) in the next room saying "I don't know what to tell him!" when I was unhappy with his dismissive answers. I told him I have to pee over 20 times a day he said with a condescending tone, I'm paraphrasing, "you're young, you're fine." My problem has only gotten worse since. He ordered labs and a follow up visit after labs to discuss the results. I have the labs done, show up to hear and talk about the results, and he doesn't have them yet! I leave with no details and he simply says he'll call me with the results. Charges me full price anyway. Never called. I called him eventually and he was vague and barely told me anything in a 3 minute max call. Worst doctor I've ever encountered. Every other doctor review site is flooded with bad reviews, be wary of the few positive ones here.

Agree with the last two comments. Office was fairly unorganized and maybe more pain during the procedure than what is typically expected (vasectomy).

Brutally rough with the procedure (vasectomy). I've heard of no one else having the pain I experienced with Dr. Long during the prep and Novocaine shots.

The doctor was okay (once I got to see him) but the office seemed confused. Also waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes was a big turn off.
