What a huge loss to the community that this excellent podiatrist is no longer practicing in NY! He was knowledgeable, patient and kind. That meant sometimes you had a bit of a wait to see him....worth the wait.

Have sat in this Dr's office 4 times and waited over an hour an a half each time. Today there were 3 people booked for 11:00. As a Doctor, he's an average podiatrist, nothing special to see here. There are no apologies for keeping his patients waiting, it's the norm. When he finally did see me at 1:00pm, his nurse or secretary knocked on the door and he placed his lunch order! C'mon!

Dr. Bergamo is a very caring and kind doctor. He is helpful and empathetic. I trust him. When I was in the hospital, he came to see me often and it didn't seem to matter what time of day it was, if they called him for a consult, he showed up. He was a big advocate for me.

I've had two appointments with this doctor, first apt. I waited and hour to see him, seems nice and knowledgeable. I had a scheduled follow-up apt. two weeks later and after waiting an hour I was told it would be at least another 15 minutes before I would be able to see the doctor, I left without making another appointment! Time is too valuable these days, very unprofessional to keep people waiting that length of time. Some people are on lunch time from their jobs others may have appointments following. No plans to reschedule here!

Both father and son are the best podiatrists around. I moved about 30 miles away and changed to a local Doctor. Mistake!!! I soon went back to the Bergamo's.
