I was surprised when I arrived to see that Dr. Roth was not only an ophthalmologist, but also a cosmetic surgeon (or whatever the formal term is). The doctor and staff were pleasant, however I felt it was high pressure to purchase contacts & glasses from their optical shop and he had me call a lasik surgeon while I was in the office to set up a consultation, even though I wasn't completely interested. The contacts I ordered from the shop were overpriced. I also spent 2 hours in the office, most of which was spent waiting. I think I saw Dr. Roth for 15 minutes of that total time. Also, their computer network was broken, so I had to give them my credit card info so they can bill me in the future. I probably should have said no and had them bill me.

Dr Roth is highly competent and an outstanding plastic surgeon. I've had two lower eyelid surgeries for basal cell carcinoma with no complications and no scarring. He can stitch! I've also had some cosmetic work done and I'm very happy with the results. I have been a patient of his for about seven years and trust him completely to be honest and up front with me.
