Worked with the man for years. He was always late seeing his patients. He was rude to many people. He treated me unfairly. Always trying me to get into businesses with him. I lost a lot of money doing that. He would make me feel like I didn’t know how to do my job. He patients adored me and they thought he was very condescending and made them feel like crying when they left his office. I had a family member who came to see him and they were very upset when they left the office after seeing him. He would have the patients watch videos before he even saw them. The people would ask me why and I was not allowed to explain why. The patients wanted to be seen before they had to watch a video and explain what was going on with them. But he would insist on them seeing the videos even before he saw them.

Dr. McMurray performed a partial mastoidectomy on my husband in 2017, and we have regretted not having gotten a second opinion beforehand. Post-op visit involved drawing and testing fluid from ear. His response to the question of what the results were was vague, to paraphrase,”nothing unexpected”. Gradually my husband developed a hole between the brain and mastoid that required a 5 hour surgery and the skills of a neurosurgeon to pull back the brain to enable as our new otolaryngologist placed a patch over the sizeable hole that had formed causing a spinal fluid leak that rolled down the jaw similar to tears. Four years later the mastoid has fluid leaking into it again, albeit a smaller amount, which will require another surgery. My husband was better off before Dr. McMurray operated. His condescending attitude could have been overlooked had he correctly treated my husband.
I will always question if the fluid drawn from the ear post-op was spinal fluid. One of the doctors in the same practice as Dr. McMurray, drew fluid in December, 2018 and determined it was indeed spinal fluid. Dr. McMurray operated in March, 2017.

My visit started with ordering test before I even seen the doctor which I find strange since I was a new patient and had never been seen in this office before. When I explained to him my past diagnosis and treatment he stated that was not the correct diagnosis then stated it was because I was seen by a nurse practitioner not a doctor. Well how would he know he did not see me ??? I find his disapproval of nurse practitioner's very unprofessional even more so since there are NP's working in his office. He was very rough with my exam to the point I told him I still had pain from his exam he ignored me !! He treated be like I was stupid and he was superior. I left the office with no answers and in pain, I will follow up and report this tomorrow. There is so much more I could say but in short DO NOT SEE THE DOCTOR !!!

Dr. McMurry made a decision before entering the room or seeing me. I was required to watch a lengthy video before seeing him. Waste of time! He seems to be quite condescending and did not listen to my concerns. I am not sure if he does not know what he is doing or if he does not care about his patients.

Visited Dr. McMurry several times and each time I was left waiting hours to be seen even after arriving early for my appointments. I was also charged for services that were not even performed during these visits. He was very condescending, rude and tried to rush me into a very serious surgery for a chronic ear disease without doing any imaging or tests beforehand. I would not recommend Dr. McMurry to anyone.
