I was a patient of Dr. Rhyee's from 2022 until he retired. He told me he wouldn't leave his practice until he found the right doctor for his patients. I'm not sure what happened but there are no doctors in the office now. Of course, I won't mention the name of the person who saw me but when I walked into her office there was a student there and another man to who I wasn't introduced. The only question she asked me was how I slept at night. I told her I was a "night owl" and had always been. She told me I had what was called self-induced insomnia. It sounded to me like this was something she just learned in school. That was my first visit.
My second visit was my last. I was the only patient in the office but waited over an hour and listened to this NP or PA or whatever her title was laughing with a student in her office. I told the receptionist that I was leaving and not to cash the $100 check I had written when I first arrived. She told me that she would have her call me by 3 PM. I never got the call.
I've written several times and tried to call to get my records but have had no luck.
This is not a doctor's office. This is a chain with unqualified people running it.

Dr. Rhyee has retired now. I was his patient for more than ten years!!! He was the most caring man!! I was devastated when he retired.
I felt cared for and was always given as much time as I needed.
I wish I could write him a letter today explaining to him how much he helped me!

Very disappointed in him and the way he treats you. He is far from a compassionate doctor or person for that matter. Only after one visit which was only 15 minutes one question was "How do you sleep at night," in which I told him not well. I told him it takes time for me to fall asleep and I wake up numerous times. He then asked me what keeps me from falling asleep and staying asleep. I told him I was sure anxiety and with a full-time job which is stressful and having two children under the age of five and with my husband moving out right after Christmas I cannot shut my brain off. His response was "Oh, you have racing thoughts and I believe you are bi-polar." Stupid me not knowing anything about bi-polar criteria and desperate for help I believed him. He prescribed to me Lithium and Depakote. Oh my gosh I work a job which I supervise 17 individuals and boy did those meds really messed me up. I am not even sure how I managed to get my two children to daycare and then drive to work. I fell asleep at work and took week off since I called his office and his staff informed me that was normal and may take me two weeks to get used to the new meds. So I took a week off and it just got worse I was a zombie and I struggled to take care of my daily needs with my kids but I could not stay awake. I stopped the medications and seen my GP and she told me to stop all medications. I did go to another doctor as a referral from my GP and she told me that I was so far from the spectrum of someone suffering from Bi-polar disease and she prescribed a low dose of Prozac for two months. Since then I have tapered off of it and am doing fine..

Agree with last review Bipolar comes up alot but I'm SZA-Bipolar Type ..Dr Rhyee is very straight forward and though long wait times for appointments due to the fact he fully explains answers to questions and concerns.. I personally like that.. Only issue has been he believes in staying out of Hospital MH inpatient mainly due to fact hospital doctors mess up medication regimin..I do agree with that, but not when I need help due to SI..
