Pulled 2 of my son's baby teeth. I had to wait in the lobby, my son started crying when he was giving him the shots and the told my son to "quit crying" sternly. I asked my son afterward if that is what the doctor said and he confirmed it. We will not be going back! He doesn't have a good bedside manner and shouldn't be treating children if he has no patience with them. He doesn't want the parents back there for a reason!

Went in for an emergency procedure on weekend. He kept telling me the info for insurance I tried to give him was wrong and needed info not on card. I told him I would call him when I got what he asked. It took 2 days and before I could call and give it to him he could me yelling and cussing me out threatening me to have me arrested for theft of service if I didn't pay him. He put his receptionist on the phone and when I have her the info he wanted she told me she didn't need that but needed the info I tried to give him during the emergency visit. He is treated me as if I was stupid during the visit talking to me in a very derogatory manner when talking to me during the whole office visit. He was also very rough when treating me. DO NOT go to him!!!! I have been in health care for 9 yrs and would never treat my patients like that !!!!! On the plus side the receptionist was very nice to me after he got down cussing me out and threatening me. At least she had some common courtesy!!!

Dr. Sutherland is very nice and his staff is too. Many of my friends and family see him and we all love him. He is NOT rough! He is very gentle and explains everything. I have never had a Dr. of any kind take as much time to listen to me or explain things like he does. He doesn't treat me like a number either. He always asks about things that interest me and how my family is doing. He is the definition of Family dentist.

He was too rough and constantly yelled at his employees while doing my procedure. I will never go back.
