Dr. Wourms is an excellent physician and a very caring man. He has amazed me several times through the years with the care of myself and my family. He will go above and beyond his call of duty. I personally, feel he is fabulous!!

I and my husband have been very pleased with Dr. Wourms and his staff. He is the most caring physician that I have ever had. His office staff are pleasant and helpful. Although the wait can be long...it is worth it!

This physician, In my eyes was not only a decent Doc, but also a friend. After nearly ten yrs. of Doc/Patient relationship, I found myself very wrong in assuming either. Not long ago, I was sent a letter by this gentlemans CNP stating that I needed to go elsewhere because it was in my 'best interest'. Upon many conversations with the office manager trying to pinpoint reason(s) for my dismissal, I was told smugly that this was indeed the reason, that it was simply in my 'best interest'.(?) This doesn't make sense to me. Communications have completely halted with the manager, and I am left with no answer, still. I have been left completely abandoned in the middle of some serious health issues without as much as a referral to another Doc. I have been left without needed meds as well. Due to my insurance, I have nowhere else to turn to. I strongly advise in re-thinking another physician before making a decision on doctor Wourms. Anyone deserves a reason for dismissal.Not left in the cold

In my opinion, Dr. Wourms is the best doctor as Summit Family Physicians. Although the wait to see him can be a bit long, I don't mind much because he takes his time with each patient. He seems to actually care about his patients and is willimg to run as many tests necessary until your problem is resolved.

Dr. Wourms is an excellent physician. He takes the time to listen to his patients, and makes sure they understand everything he says. He is very knowledgeable and is willing to work with you to come up with a good plan for your health. I would strongly recommend him and think he is the best physician at Summit Family Physicians in Middletown.

He is very knowledgable, great manner, easy to talk to. Only thing is you will have to wait a little because he really talks and listens to his patients and gives them the time they need. I don't mind waiting if I know I'm going to get my questions answered.
